Joseph Wozniak, Head, Trade for Sustainable Development (T4SD) programme at the International Trade Centre (ITC)

Joseph Wozniak has over 20 years’ experience in international trade and development. He heads the Trade for Sustainable Development programme (T4SD) and leads the work on sustainable supply chains at ITC. T4SD is a specialized and technical resource within ITC aligning sustainability efforts in trade, for the benefit of SMEs in particular. T4SD manages and continually develops the most comprehensive, neutral, and accurate platform on voluntary sustainability standards to benefit global sustainable trade while responding to emerging regulatory requirements such as corporate sustainability due diligence. Prior to ITC, Mr. Wozniak worked for KPMG LLP and as a Senior Economist with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) in Washington, D.C. He was responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of the Agency’s portfolio and the development of analytical tools for the impact assessment of OPIC’s emerging markets investment projects in sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and consumer products.

Martin Erlandsson, Director Business Development at ILV Swedish Environmental Research Institute

Martin is part of the board of EPD International that is a subsidiary to IVL.

Mr. Erlandsson’s background is as specialist working with LCA, digitalization including tools using LCA/EPD methodology, and he holds an Adjunct Professor at the Deptement of Civil and Architectural Engineering at KTH. Martin has been involved in the development of the standards (PCR) used for construction product (EN15804 and ISO 21930). Martin is working as EPD verifier for several program operators and is part of the Technical Committee of EPD Norway. He has been involved in the supporting work in order to establish a mandatory climate declaration for all new building that is in force since 2022 and a suggestion on to implement limit values in year 2025.

Karen Dahl Jensen, Product Development Manager at Nordic Ecolabelling

Karen Dahl Jensen holds a Master’s degree in biology from Copenhagen University. She joined Ecolabelling Denmark since 2001 as a driving force in the field of environmental sustainability. Dahl Jensen served as Chairman for the Competent Body Forum in EU Ecolabel before becoming Product Development Manager for Nordic Ecolabelling in 2013.
